History and employees

On January 01, 1984 Paul and Marlise Roos took over the former carpenter's workshop Gerber in Buckten with one worker and worked there until 1997. In autumn they then moved into the newly built commercial building Langmatt in Thürnen, which they built and used together with the construction company Hasler AG. The commercial building was completely destroyed by fire in September 2012. With a lot of strength, money and heart blood our "home" was rebuilt, so that we could celebrate the reopening on March 28th at an "open day".

Unfortunately, patron and namesake, Paul Roos, could not live to see this moment, he died in early February 2014 from the late effects of asbestos work. Since June 1, 2012, David Gysin has been managing Paul Roos AG together with Marlise Roos. The company currently employs 15 people, which we introduce to you in more detail under "Team".
