The flat roof:

The development of bitumen & polymer mixtures causes a further increase in material quality. With this polymer-bitumen waterproofing membranes it is possible to create single or double layer waterproofing with massively higher durability.

The installation cost of a lightning protection system depends on the shape and size of the building and the building materials used. A lightning protection system for a single-family home costs approximately 1 to 2% of the building insurance value. In new buildings, the grounding is usually installed in the foundation. To save costs later on, the connection points for the down conductor can be laid at the same time.
